Artist Bio:
I have always been intrigued by how things are made. Embodying the spirit of life-long learning, I am a self-taught jewellery artisan and always on the lookout for new techniques and media.
Within the last ten years, I have discovered the wonderful worlds of metalsmithing, torch-fire enamel, metal-clay and Kumihimo beading, and produce resulting in unique and meticulously designed jewellery pieces.
Now retired, I am thrilled to spend many tranquil hours in my workshop studying, designing, experimenting and creating. Working with silver, copper, beautiful gemstones and beads, the possibilities are endless.
My husband, Larry, and I have lived near beautiful Lawrencetown Beach, Nova Scotia since 1973. I am a proud mom (and mom-in-law) who enjoys spoiling her four precious grandchildren (and her dog, Max)!
