Barn Row
One of the great joys of being a water colourist is to create a vibrant painting with depth and texture using a very limited palette. Barn Row was painted with only three colours which were combined and glazed to build a more complex painting. Gale grew up in the Annapolis Valley and likes barns! This painting is not typical but the artist liked the linear opportunity of presenting these marvelous structures.
