Single Poppy
I grew up in a small Prairie town and my folks both loved flowers, indoors and out. One end of the vegetable garden was for flowers, and poppies self-seeded every year and the glory of the red gave my mama so much joy from the kitchen window. I still have them in my garden, a favorite flower to paint.
