Bloom Where You Are Planted
These pretty pastels were scooped up from Cape Breton beaches during the Spring of 2021. It’s so rare to find tumbled lavender and sea foam green sea glass of similar shapes and sizes. Once a year, I take a weekend trip alone to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. It has, perhaps, the rarest and most tumbled sea glass in all of Nova Scotia. During this particular trip in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, I remember how wonderful it was to spend an entire weekend walking the breathtaking beaches of Cape Breton and collecting its many treasures.
Acrylic paint, genuine sea-tumbled glass, pottery, stone, and sea brick were used to create the artwork.
