Filigree Necklace and Earring Set

Ornamental work formerly made with grains or beads is called filigree. This Italian word is made up from the Latin words for thread, in this case fine silver wire.  This design allows for an open pattern.  The set has been crafted completely by hand except for the Sterling Silver 18-inch chain. The pendant hangs 2 1/4 “ from the chain. The twice fired Blue Glass cabochons add dimension to this one-of-a-kind set.
