While most sea glass hunters search for medium to large-sized tumbled glass on beaches, I can sit for hours sifting through the sand to find those rare mini glass shards. Most of the mini sea glass bits (including a rare red) in this artwork were collected during a lazy afternoon spent at Point Pleasant Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Acrylic paint, genuine sea-tumbled glass, and pottery were used to create this bicycle image.
