An aphrodisiac of the seafood chain.

These saltwater mollusks are a vital part of the ecosystem. In health benefits they are low in calories and high in nutrients. 

Oysters are high on the food list for seafood lovers.

 A special celebration this year took us to the Rossmount Inn in St. Andrews NB. The oysters were certainly enjoyed, and the server was highly amused at the request to bring the empty shells home.

The shells were perfect models as I created the memory using melted Beeswax and oil paint.
