One for Sorrow
A popular children's poem "Counting Crows" was the inspiration of a series of crow paintings.
One for Sorrow, Two for Joy, Three for a Girl, Four for a Boy, Five for Silver, Six for Gold, Seven for a Secret Never to be Told.
I was drawn to a poem by Robert Browning Hamilton
and his thoughts about sorrow and the lessons it can teach you.
At times throughout our lives we are all faced with sorrow. We can grow within ourselves by learning to deal with difficult times. Through sorrow we can develop inner strength, problem solve and seek positive outcomes. I find this painting to be uplifting and comforting.
