PAST & PRESENT
Our lovely gallery is just across the street from this iconic street scene. These six abutting row houses were built C 1858 in the “Halifax House Style”. They are arranged in three mirror image pairs with Scottish dormers.
I have arranged them to see what the future could hold for Halifax unless our architectural heritage is preserved. They have been documented, painted, photographed and treasured.
It was a great pleasure to add this work to the many that have gone before.
Water Colour & Pen and Ink. 37” x 18” Framed with double archival mat and backing. Image size 10” x 30”
