Peggy’s Cove Memories
Almost everyone who visits Nova Scotia spends a least one full day visiting picturesque Peggy’s Cove. It is a rural fishing village approximately 45 minutes from Halifax with a population of less than 45 people! So many memories are created in this community and I was fortunate enough to have worked for five years at Hags on the Hill with a group of local artists selling my sea glass artwork. It was there, in the oldest standing building in St. Margaret’s Bay which had a stunning view of the lighthouse from inside, that I made the decision to become a full-time artist. Like so many others, Peggy’s Cove, NS is one of my favourite destinations.
Genuine sea-tumbled glass (cobalt blue and one rare red included) and stone were used to create this artwork.
