Peggy’s Cove lighthouse from Polly’s Cove Trail

Many people enjoy the Peggy’s Cove area in the fall, when the vibrant colours are at their peak, and I have often gone there to paint at this time of year. When walking along the Polly’s Cove Trail I set off across the hills to the right, and to my surprise realised I could see the iconic Peggy’s Cove lighthouse in the distance. This painting is based on photographs I took on that memorable walk.
