Red Sky @ Night

Inspiration for this painting came after a long day of a painting Plein Air event at Peggys Cove N.S. Feeling a little tired but happy with the day, I started to pack up my gear. The sky was bathed in a glowing amber and the little fishing sheds seem to glow in the warmth. We have a maritime saying" red sky at night is a sailors delight "  Out came the paint and brushes again and I quickly captured the feeling of this charming little scene.
