Made with Nova Scotia earthenware clay I used an actual rhubarb leaf pressed into the clay. The leaf pressed clay was then draped into a pleasing shape and feet added to elevate the platter. With at least six different glazes layered and mixed on the surface, there is depth and variation in the surface that is inviting and joyful.
