The Pond's Edge

During my time as a park naturalist I loved leading children's events to a pond. Using dip nets and basins we would discover the huge variety of life that lives under and over the water, and many like the dragonflies that spend  half their life crawling in the mud at the bottom and the other flying over the pond. I still love mucking about in the mud!
