Two Squid Gyotaku

This is called Gyotaku which is the Japanese art of fish printing . I used the real squid to paint on and then  roll the rice paper onto them . The rice paper is peeled back with the imprint t that is then enchanced. The traditional method uses black ink but I have enchanced my fish prints with ink and acrylic.
