Good Day Art 1274 friends and family,
Let's not talk about the elephant in the room right now shall we? The cuts to the Arts, and to other programs that matter to many, many Nova Scotians. Let’s not talk of those early days in our Beloved Premier’s reign - how he expounded on the importance of the Arts to a province like ours. No, Dear Patron… we shan’t dwell on such things, at least not today.

Instead I say seize the day! Armed with brushes and tubes of paint as my ammunition I shall own that blank canvas, I will not let myself be discouraged. The sun is bright and shining, the snow is melting and the birds are singing.
Spring is in the air. Breathe it in.

There is so much to look forward to this time of year. Turn off the news! Put down that iPad. Let’s just get on with living, loving and creating, because Art is always going to survive in times like this.
We invite you to celebrate this very idea with us down at the Gallery. We are going to be sweeping winter out and welcoming the new season with all brand new work. We have a treat in store for you in the form of a wonderful new Exhibit, Nature Springs Anew - a Group show of new work from our artists. The show will run from April 2 - 28 and we’ll have an opening reception on Saturday, April 11th. Stay tuned for more details and a sneak peek in our newsletter closer to the show.

So, come join us for the Opening of this new show and let’s look forward to a whole new season. Happiness is contagious…and we have the bug!
See you at the Gallery!
