Among the Snowy Trees

I was lucky enough to live in farm country with my family and our forest and fields behind me, while at the same time, live in the City of Dartmouth, NS.   I love the quiet of a snow storm and the simple beauty of everything it touches. The shapes of trees covered in white ... although I see most things with slightly skewed … all beautiful and magical.  Walking in the turquoise stillness of our woods brought on a kind of calmness that nothing else ever did.  I miss my woods and my walks but unfortunately city life encroached.
