COME ON IN

Words we don’t hear much anymore. Days of leaving our doors opened, unlocked are long gone. So much distrust and fear. Days of neighbors dropping in for coffee, conversations or just to borrow a cup of sugar. Living in a small town does allow homeowners to feel comfortable leaving their doors open due to a sense of knowing their community. Such was a day in a small town where I came across kids with popsicles running from door to door gathering their friends for a game. And do a sketch I did, capturing that welcoming spirit.
