First Snowfall (24" x 36")

First Snowfall 

Prior to the first snowfall of the season the landscape is often brown and barren. Freshly fallen snow transfers the  outside into a beautiful blanket of white to contrast with the rest of nature.
Look closely at snow on a bright day and you will see hues of pink,violet,blue and green.Sunset and sunrise might show hints of peach tones.
As an artist I love to push these colours to show the hidden beauty in winter scenery.
