Creating this piece was a bit like uncovering a forgotten story hidden beneath winter’s calm. I was drawn to the way the grasses, resilient despite their dryness and cold, weave around the trap like nature’s gentle clasp. The title hints at something just out of sight—an abandoned trap not of danger but of memory and time, quietly caught beneath the season’s veil.
