Fungus Tree

After I finished painting “Cabbage Flower” I decided to look for another sculpture to paint and found what looked like a rotten stump with bracket fungi sticking out of it surrounded by ferns. I could not see a label, but as I painted it realized that it was ceramic and that the colour scheme was similar to “Cabbage Flower”. Later I found out that Alexis Dorion had also made this sculpture.
