My Trip to Peggy's Cove Part II

This is an original Painting - 24x48 - mixed media, buried under 1/8" of high gloss epoxy resin, on 18 gauge hand manipulated sheet metal.

The techniques used combine to stimulate the viewer with a holographic effect. This one of a kind effect cannot be duplicated and is only present in the Original Painting.

Permanently mounted in a live edge wood frame hand made by the artist reusing locally sourced wood. The outside dimension with the frame is 26x48.

This painting was created in Halifax, NS. Canada in 2020.

Inspiration: Since relocating back to the east coast of Canada in 2018, once again surrounded by ocean landscapes and evergreen playgrounds it was only fitting to revisit historic Peggy's Cove over and over again.  I chose to use this iconic landmark to begin my Surreal Landscapes & Wild Life Collection.
