Pebble Creek, Dartmouth, NS (8" x 10")

Hélène Martin captures the quiet magic of Pebble Creek in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with snow-covered rocks and branches framing the winding water. Mixed water mediums bring soft winter colours and expressive lines to this intimate woodland scene.

Artist’s note: “I like snowshoeing up and down the creek. It is magical with the snow on the rocks and branches.”
