Wet-felted with merino wool and silk. Embellished with needle-felting and embroidery. 

During my time in Mexico, wherever I lived, the Snowy Egrets never ceased to entertain me. Dressed in white lace, with black stockings and yellow galoshes, they always remind me of a young girl joyously splashing and dancing at the water's edge. I wish they would fly a little farther north...
