Translucent Treasures

Translucent Treasures reflects my deep attraction to painting translucent objects, particularly glass. This body of work is centered on capturing the beauty of light as it bounces and refracts through glass, emphasizing the interplay between light and transparency, which are major components of the piece. The glass objects depicted in the painting are not random; they are part of my own cherished collection, acquired over time through antiquing, thrifting, or passed down as family treasures. These items hold personal significance and serve as the true ‘treasures’ within the work.
