This is an original Painting - 24x36 - mixed media, buried under 1/8" of high gloss epoxy resin, on 18 gauge hand manipulated sheet metal.

The techniques used combine to stimulate the viewer with a holographic effect with the movement of light. This effect is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated and is only present in the Original Painting.

Permanently mounted in a live edge wood frame hand made by the artist. This frame is engineered to support 50 lbs+. The outside dimension with the frame is 24x44.

This painting was created in Halifax, NS. Canada in 2019.

Inspiration:

Since relocating back to the east coast of Canada in 2018, once again surrounded by ocean landscapes and evergreen playgrounds it was only fitting to revisit historic Peggy's Cove over and over again.  I chose to use this iconic landmark to begin my Surreal Landscapes Collection.
