In the early 1990's my husband and I lived in the Northwest Territories. Bitter cold and short winter days were nothing we looked forward to. Except for the dancing green lights!
I fondly remember one New Years Eve. We drove up to a local hilltop, climbed up onto the hood of our truck, leaned back against the windshield and watched in awe as the sky rippled and danced in neon greens and blues. The cold won out, as it usually did, but not before this spectacular sight was etched in our memories. Some things are worth bundling up for!Fibre
