A narrow strip of fragile dunes, a  5 km stretch of sandy beach, and a fragile nature reserve ... this is Martinique Provincial Park along our Eastern Shore. The dunes- in jeopardy with every storm surge- protect the breeding grounds of endangered piping plovers and other migratory birds. Hold on tight!
