“Sweet Tooth”? Hell Yes!!!

Black forest cake has been a family favourite for celebrating our son’s birthday and has provided the subject matter for several of my paintings over the years.  The platter appearing with the cake was a wedding gift from over 50 years ago, and it always takes the place of honour in presenting the cake. And if that’s not enough chocolate, how about chocolate dipped strawberries!

Great to eat and wonderful to paint as I get to eat the props after the painting.
