Waxing into Spring

A walk through the Kearny Lake area. I came upon this scene with melting snow and the promise of spring in the air.

It was fitting to paint this scene with melted Beeswax ( encaustics). I allowed the aluminum to peak through in several areas adding to the ambience of the painting.
